FR// Née en 1997, Clara Grosjean est une artiste chorégraphique, qui navigue entre Lyon, Amsterdam, et Saorge, dans la vallée de la Roya. Elle est d’abord formée au CRR de Lyon et obtient une Licence en Arts du Spectacle à l’Université Lumière Lyon 2. Elle voyage ensuite à travers l’Europe, tout en étudiant à Copenhagen Contemporary Dance School (Danemark), et Northern School of Contemporary Dance (Leeds, Angleterre), avant de rejoindre Amsterdam University of the Arts (Pays-Bas), dont elle est diplômée en 2022.
Elle a été interprète dans les créations de Guillerme Botehlo, Katja Heitmann, Maureen Jonker, Julie Magneville, Sanne Clifford, Thomas Chopin, Rita Marcalo et Nawelle Aïnèche.
En 2024-25, elle crée Les Marées Sèches, une performance chorégraphique durationnelle pour algues et humaine. Elle poursuit une recherche sur l'anthropocentrisme et la prise en compte des enjeux écologiques dans les créations et pratiques chorégraphiques.
EN// Born in 1997, Clara Grosjean is a dance artist, based between Lyon, Amsterdam, and Saorge, in the South of the French Alps.
She started contemporary dance at the Conservatoire in Lyon and studied a Bachelor in Performing Arts Studies (2014-17) at Université Lumière Lyon 2.
She spent 6 years living abroad and travelling across Europe, while studying at the Copenhagen Contemporary Dance School in Denmark (2017-18), Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, UK (2018-19), before joining the Amsterdam University of the Arts and graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor in Contemporary Dance.
She performed in the works of Guillerme Botehlo, Katja Heitmann, Maureen Jonker, Julie Magneville, Sanne Clifford, Thomas Chopin, Rita Marcalo, and Nawelle Aïnèche.
In 2024-25, she created Les Marées Sèches, a long durational and choreographic performance for algae and a human.
She pursues a long term research project on anthropocentrism and ecology within performance pratices and choreography.
